Join Our Team as a Quality Control Specialist for Medical Insurance!

As a Quality Control Specialist , you ll play a key role in maintaining the integrity of benefit verifications while working remotely. You ll be responsible for upholding high standards by reviewing insurance data for accuracy and completeness, and collaborating with a dynamic team to drive quality initiatives. Location: Remote!
Applicant must reside near the following Zip Codes to be considered: TX 75056, NC 28217, FL 32746
Length of Role: Starts Mid October and ends mid - February 2025, based on the needs of the business candidates can be considered for full-time
Pay: $20-23/hr
Schedule: 7am 7pm CST or 8am 8pm EST | must be able to work all shifts
Typically Monday to Friday position, but candidate must be flexible to work Saturday's if needed
Job Summary:
The Quality Control Specialist is a remote role focused on ensuring that quality standards are consistently upheld throughout the benefit reverification process. Responsibilities include following established protocols to review a set number of benefit verifications for accuracy and completeness.
Primary Responsibilities:

Review daily benefit verifications and complete quality checks according to assigned tasks.

Update quality documentation as needed and provide feedback to supervisors based on quality control guidelines.

Meet daily quotas for benefit verifications.

Document quality evaluations using established templates and standards.

Participate in regular meetings with the QA team and management to ensure consistency in quality standards and evaluations.

Identify trends based on quality reviews and provide performance feedback to the operations leadership team.
Qualifications:

2 years of experience in benefit investigations or related medical/insurance roles.

General knowledge of medical and pharmacy insurance is preferred.

Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform thorough quality checks on large data sets.

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for reports and presentations.

High School Diploma or GED required.
