CornerStone Staffing has teamed up with a major pharmaceutical benefits company to seek out a team of Pharmacy Customer Service Representatives for an exciting remote opportunity!

Job Title: Pharmacy Customer Service Representative

Pay Rate: $18.50/hr. - $19.50/hr. BOE

Certified Pharmacy Technicians are eligible for the $19.50/hr. range

Location: WFH

Start Date: Monday, October 16th 2023

Duration: Temp to Hire!

Hours of Operation: Monday to Friday,7:00AM to 7:00PM CST

• Must be open to any 8 hour shift between 7:30AM to 7:00PM CST

• Must be open to rotating Saturdays (9AM to 1PM)

Job Duties:

• Answer questions and handle problems regarding pharmacy benefit, provider, or claim issues

• Handle inbound calls and make outbound calls to follow up with members, providers, and pharmacies as necessary

• Spend approx. 90% time on the phones and provide empathetic customer service

• Seek approval for overrides and prior authorizations as needed and enter them into the claims system

• Monitor pharmacy claims processing and complete data entry of member records

• Other duties or special projects may be assigned as necessary

Job Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience in pharmaceutical healthcare industry

• A pharmacy technician certification is highly preferred (inactive also applies)

• 1+ year(s) of PBM or health benefits experience

• Experience in working in a high volume call center is highly preferred

• High school diploma or equivalent
