Replenishment Coordinator Wal-Mart Chain

Location: Onsite for training/temp period; Hybrid (Wed/Fri WFH) once permanent
Schedule: Monday Friday, 8 AM 5 PM
Pay Rate: $17 - $20/hr
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire

Position Summary:

The Replenishment Coordinator plays a critical role in managing inventory, processing purchase orders, and ensuring fulfillment efficiency for Wal-Mart chain stores. This position is responsible for reviewing costs, updating item authorizations, analyzing inventory levels, and coordinating order fulfillment to maintain optimal stock levels with minimal backorders. Additionally, this role requires frequent collaboration with Store Managers, Sales Consultants, and the warehouse team to resolve inventory-related issues and improve replenishment processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and process EDI PO orders, making necessary inventory adjustments using the AS400 System to ensure timely order fulfillment with minimal backorders.

  • Update and maintain shared PO forms to coordinate warehouse scheduling and deliveries.

  • Verify compliance with Must Arrive By Date (MABD) requirements.

  • Communicate purchase order (PO) edits and updates with Wal-Mart.

  • Confirm invoice printing and order accuracy with the warehouse team.

  • Add new item numbers and vintages to the authorization list and maintain an accurate EDI item cross-reference for Wal-Mart Chain.

  • Properly manage item authorizations for all distribution center (DC) and store orders.

  • Verify UPC codes and pricing accuracy.

  • Analyze Wal-Mart store-level inventory to prevent stock voids.

  • Track and review backordered items with the Chain Executive or Supervisor.

  • Provide support to Sales Consultants by addressing inventory-related concerns and order issues.

  • Process and communicate tasting event details to Sales Consultants.

  • Utilize OMS for PO validation and MABD compliance.

  • Maintain and update Void Tracker reports.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).

  • 10-key data entry experience with strong accuracy.

  • Knowledge of the beverage industry or a related field preferred.

  • Experience in inventory management, supply chain, or replenishment roles.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.

  • Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through to ensure task completion.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
