Job Title: Safety Engineer

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Pay: $70,000 - $75,000/annually *DOE*

Job Description:

• Support safety manager and project team in construction project completion

• Exercise judgment and discretion in safety-related recommendations and procedures

• Assist in planning, monitoring work activities, and addressing unsafe conditions

• Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including staff and trade partners

• Be knowledgeable about company safety programs, owner requirements, and regulatory standards

• Assist in accident prevention plan, safety management, and crisis management plan completion

• Participate in quality control/safety process, review activity hazard analyses, and conduct safety audits

• Assist with OSHA inspections, accidents, near misses, and safety performance monitoring. Attend safety courses and learn construction processes and roles

Ideal Candidate:

• Recent college graduate

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety and Health degree preferred

• Valid Driver s License *Required

• Computer software - Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel based templates, Prolog, Primavera and AutoDesk Suite *Required
