Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Pay: $75-$80k/annually

Job Duties:

• Review and manage all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems

• Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance and best practices

• Develop, implement, and maintain financial controls, processes, and guidelines

• Oversee and support local and offshore accounting team

• Prepare and provide accounting reports and financial statements in accordance with determined schedule

• Analyze financial information and offer suggestions on improvements as needed

• Review and recommend improvements to accounting systems and procedures

• Participate in financial planning and forecasting

• Manage all internal and external audits

• Perform other administrative duties as assigned

Ideal Candidate:

• At least 7-10+ years accounting experience

• Professional accounting certification a plus

• Working knowledge of GAAP, federal, state, and local tax compliance regulations and reporting, as well as a strong understanding of economic and banking processes

• Strong working knowledge of detailed financial data analysis

• Must have Quickbooks online experience

• Other accounting software experience a plus

On-boarding Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)

• Criminal Background & Drug Screening

• 2 verifiable employment references
