Job Title: Senior Employee Relations Partner
Location: Downtown Dallas
Pay: $25
Overview:
The Senior Employee Relations Partner utilizes analytical skills to provide oversight of internal investigations and conducts workplace investigations to ensure compliance with City of Dallas policies and procedures. This role ensures that all civil, criminal, federal, and statutory regulations are addressed without bias. The Senior Employee Relations Partner is responsible for data management within the Case Management System, conducts employee relations training, and produces high-level reports weekly and monthly. Additionally, this position supports the Employee Relations Manager in various projects and initiatives.
Essential Functions:
- Conduct and oversee internal investigations regarding employee relations violations of City of Dallas policies, including harassment, discrimination, FMLA abuse, and more, within established timelines.
- Produce high-level reports using internal software and systems.
- Research, compile, and analyze physical and verbal evidence; document all interviews and interactions with complainants, accused parties, and witnesses; maintain evidence integrity according to guidelines.
- Draft comprehensive investigation reports, including findings and recommendations for administrative decision-making.
- Establish and meet timelines for deliverables, including interviews and report delivery to relevant parties.
- Respond promptly to complaints and advise on timelines for investigations; provide follow-up as needed to ensure detail accuracy.
- Develop and facilitate training on workplace matters for City of Dallas leaders and employees.
- Manage the case management system to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- A minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in employee relations, investigative reporting/writing, or mediation/arbitration.
- Education: Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Business/Public Administration, or a related social science field.
