Job Title: Bilingual Senior Outreach Specialist

Location: Dallas, TX
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (flexibility may be required for community events)
Pay: 25.00

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and implement community outreach programs to ensure local needs are met.

  • Provide one-on-one assistance and support to community members, while monitoring the performance of fellow Outreach Specialists.

  • Educate the public about City services and resources, and develop relationships with social service organizations.

  • Facilitate community events to promote awareness of programs and services.

  • Create and distribute newsletters, presentations, press releases, and social media content.

  • Represent the City at public meetings and events, engaging with residents, businesses, and community groups.

  • Perform additional duties as needed to support outreach efforts.

Job Requirements:

  • Must be bilingual

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in community outreach, public service, or customer service.

  • Strong understanding of community dynamics and social issues in various geographical areas of Dallas.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Ability to lead meetings and promote transparency within the community.

  • Proven ability to establish effective working relationships and collaborate with diverse groups.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
