Position: Social Service Worker

** Must be available to start ASAP**

Pay: $18.00 / Hr.

Location: Garland, TX 75040

Schedule:

Monday - Friday

8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Job Summary:

This position will be providing social service assistance to eligible clients in the following areas: food, lodging, clothing, furniture, and financial assistance; interviews clients to determine need and eligibility to receive services; prepares accurate and complete client records; refers clients to community agencies and maintains effective working relationships with the same; ensures compliance with program policies and procedures.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

Education and Experience:

Associate s degree from an accredited college or university in business administration or related field,

and

Three years with progressive responsibility/experience performing administrative work in a general office environment;

or

Any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
